from 1 to 2:30 pm EST

Instructor: Maria Picci

Online class DESCRIPTION:

Join us live from Buenos Aires, Argentina for the holiday ornaments class with artist and designer Maria Picci on zoom. Maria will be demonstrating her unique technique of folding and rolling ribbon to create ribbon holiday ornaments from her own studio and she will showcase exclusive examples from her collection for further inspirations.

We hope this demonstration will inspire you to create your own ornaments for the holiday season! The ribbon ornaments are simple to make and requires a few materials. Attendees will receive a list of class materials and a link to Zoom to tune in.

You can use most types of ribbon for these projects, but our Drittofilo works especially well. Its beautiful metallic edges sparkle perfectly when hanging from a branch, or used in any kind of holiday decor. We have curated a collection of supplies especially for this ornament workshop, including selections of Drittofilo ribbon, available in our shop.

We are aware that many people will tune in from around the world, so please make use of a timezone converter to determine what 1:00 pm EST time is where you live.

After you enroll, you will receive an email which contains:

  • A Zoom link you will use to log in
  • A list of class materials
  • A written and visual step by step workbook file, for future reference

The event will run for 90 minutes. After Maria's studio tour and demonstration we will end with a Q&A.

Maria Picci will be teaching live from her studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Studio Carta team will tune in from Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, USA.

We can't wait to see what you create!
