Unexpected Jewelry Class and Maria Picci studio's tour on Zoom

Online class DESCRIPTION:

Join us for a live from Buenos Aires, virtual unexpected jewelry demostration with artist and designer Maria Picci. Textile jewelry designer Maria Picci from Buenos Aires, Argentina, will be demonstrating her unique technique of folding and rolling ribbon to create a ribbon flower from her own studio. Maria will showcase exclusive examples from her own collection. We hope this demonstration will inspire you to create your own jewelry and accessories! The ribbon flower is simple to make and requires a few materials. Attendees will receive a list of class materials and a link to Zoom to tune in. Follow along from home with your own supplies - we can't wait to see what you create! 

We are aware that many people will tune in from around the world, so please make use of a timezone converter to determine what 1:00 pm EST time is where you live.


After you enroll, you will receive an email which contains:

  • A Zoom link you will use to log in
  • A list of class materials

The event will run for 90 minutes. After Maria's studio tour and demonstration we will end with a Q&A.

Maria will be teaching live from her studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 


Maria Picci is the owner and designer of her own brand and products Maria Picci ™ based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since 2008, the brand is the result of Maria’s approach to accessories design, focused on the use of non-traditional materials to develop a world of fantastic handcrafted pieces where shape, color and texture are the main characters. Maria uses ribbons which are subjected to different process of folding, roll up and overlap to achieve a wide variety of shapes and textures. Maria's collection was distinguished with the Seal of Good Design, an official distinction awarded by the Ministry of Industry in Argentina to the national industry products that stands for innovation, for its commitment to local production, by its position in the market and its quality design. All pieces are designed, manufactured and assembled at Maria's studio in the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
